Educational Dr Robert Illes has spent a considerable part of his career in Education. From an initial excellent first class degree in Physics to experience as a Physics teacher, Head of Physics, lecturer at Oxford Brookes culminating with a PhD in Physics Education; the educational/academic aspect provides the first half to a very strong coin. Dr Robert Illes continues to be involved in academic authoring projects, be they empirical or document based research, research into education or course preparation and training. Prominently, Dr Robert Illes is a fully inducted member of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC), thus gaining the illustrious additional suffix MISTC, and will write and present regularly for them.
